An anonymous forty year old woman recently won a small fortune when she received her share of the Mecca Bingo Million prize, a massive £264,288 at Mecca Bingo in Hamilton. The woman, who lives with her partner, gave up work to care for her two small children. She was playing in one of the free games that Mecca has been advertising when the magnificent win came about.
She was playing bingo at the Mecca Bingo club, with her mother and sister and was just waiting for the number 35 to come up so she could claim the second line prize, she still have five more numbers on her card needed to call full house. The last five numbers on her card came out in seven calls and she could not believe what was happening, the people in the club went wild, ecstatic with her lucky win.
The lucky lady has been a member at the Hamilton Mecca Bingo for twelve years but has never won more than £1000. She intends to put the money to good use, by paying off her mortgage and intends to take her family on a holiday, they may even go so far as to visit her sister who lives in Australia.
