Tips for Bingo Calling
Thursday, May 8th, 2008Bingo is a great game, not only for you to go out and play at the local bingo club, but also for people wanting to help out at old peoples home, schools, at home for children’s birthday parties and for fundraising purposed.
You are interested in helping and have played the game a few times and someone asks you to help out by calling at a bingo game. You can’t say no but have no idea how to go about it. Well today we have a few tips for you.
- If you are not used to standing up and speaking in front of a crowd of people, don’t worry, speak slowly and clearly, don’t rush it, try to speak a little melodically.
- Ensure that you shake the numbers regularly, this instills a sense of trust and allows players to believe you are playing fair.
- If you call consecutive numbers give a little “tut” and slight shake of the head, as players will believe that you are not shaking the numbers up enough.
- Explain the rules of the game clearly before you start, for instance you must explain that it is vital to call bingo on the last number you mark on your car, if you don’t you miss the bingo win and someone else gets the prize.
