Bingo players at the Gala Bingo Club in Liversage Street and shoppers in Derby’s Westfield Centre were evacuated after the centre received a bomb threat. This was just yesterday at 2pm. Staff members at the Next store were called three times in a row, one after the other, by a man who had claimed that he placed a bomb in the shop.

The young mother, now of two, went into labour and was mere minutes away from delivering the baby in the toilets at the Gala Bingo club; she really believed that she was going to have the baby there and then.
