Macmillan Unit Receives Aid from Charity Bingo
Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital has just received a boost in funds for their Macmillan unit. These funds were raised by Jim and Beverley Boon who organized a charity bingo game and raffle event. This event was organized in memory of their daughter who died at the young age of 34 years old from cancer. Mr and Mrs Boon have been organizing this event for five years now and they were very happy to hand over a cheque for ₤950 to a nurse who works in the Macmillan unit.
