One lucky winner of the UK National Bingo recently told the manager of the bingo club “not to be so silky”. This after he had told her that she had just won nearly ₤30,000. The seventy year old winner refused to believe that she has won so much money, and she was not the only one, her husband told her that she couldn’t have won more than ₤5.
A sixty-one year old woman from Clacton said that she felt absolutely gob-smacked by the news that she had won more than ₤41,000 while playing bingo at the Gala Bingo Club in Pier Avenue, Clacton. She has been playing bingo for thirty-two years and plays once or twice a week at the club with a friend whom she will be sharing her winnings with. I love this time of month, because this is when we find out who won the National Bingo Game Platinum Jackpot Play-off. The most recent winner had to share the ₤891,060 jackpot with another player, but she still didn’t do badly at all, winning the National prize of ₤405,530, the Sunday national Game prize of ₤40,000, the Regional prize of ₤3,009, the Club prize of ₤2,767 and a ₤500 house prize.
