Internet gaming operators have got their “eyes down” watching the pounds come rolling in as a new breed of bingo players hit the internet to spend their entertainment money on online bingo.

A soon as they have a moment, the take their place in front of their computers, perhaps using their lucky chair, topping up their online bingo account and playing to their hearts content. One of the benefits of playing online bingo for the middle class woman, is that they don’t have to pack themselves into crowded bingo halls to enjoy a game. They can, have a cup of tea and at their own leisure and in comfort, indulge in a few games of online bingo.

It is difficult to determine the mass appeal of playing online bingo, but mass appeal it has, particularly for the new breed of player. Perhaps it is the fact that more of the middle class has access to high speed broad band, or it could be because they can’t bear the thought of sitting in that crowded bingo hall.  But whatever it is, the industry has never before been so lucrative or competitive.
