Carlton Bingo Clubs Close a Couple More

The increased popularity of the game of bingo is, perhaps, a double edged sword.
Since the game of bingo was first introduced online, the number of registered players online has continued to increase exponentially. The appeal of bingo is seen by people of all walks of life, all ages, all race and creed. The incredibly profitable industry has seen an influx of players from all over.

This success, though, may spawn the end of the bingo hall as we know it. The Carlton Bingo Clubs association has just closed down two more of their land-based bingo halls. This comes on the heels of the latest vote-down to ease the taxation required of bingo halls, as well as the recent smoking ban in these establishments.

There is no question about the future existence of bingo as a game for fun, as well as possible winning. Yet citizens of the UK must take a closer look at the price they will be paying to increase the ever-popular gaming trend that leans to online gaming. Eventually, no one will have the chance to experience a bingo hall as they were meant to be when they were built.

Contrasting reports argue each other about the true social outlet of an online gaming tournament as opposed to visiting a bingo hall. Some believe it is not enough of a social outlet if the communication and friendships are limited to online play time. There are others who believe that the chat games, as well as team bingo, allow them to maintain enough social avenues and create friendships.

Whatever your opinion, be sure to look to the future and see what would be a better alternative than shutting down even more halls and establishments in favor of online gaming. There will be a significant portion (fixed income) of our society that will limited in their ability to enjoy what fun the game of bingo has to offer.
