One lucky winner of the UK National Bingo recently told the manager of the bingo club “not to be so silky”. This after he had told her that she had just won nearly ₤30,000. The seventy year old winner refused to believe that she has won so much money, and she was not the only one, her husband told her that she couldn’t have won more than ₤5.

She was playing the National Bingo’s Afternoon Delight Game at her local bingo club at the time she won and was actually on her way out of the club to go home when the manager called her back and told her the good news. It was at this point that she told him not to be so silly.

I suppose that it is easy for bingo winners of this amount of money to think they are having their legs pulled, particularly when they have been playing the game for pleasure and not necessarily for the winning.

I certainly believe that if I were to win such a huge amount of money in a bingo club, I would probably feel the same. Disbelief is always the first reaction reported in any bingo winner.
